Background
Okuizumo Shuzo is our portfolio’s youngest brewery at just 15 years old. Established in 2004 in the Izumo Province (known in Japanese mythology as the Land of the Gods), as a cooperative between various local and agricultural entities to harness the synergies that bountiful local rice cultivation and distinctive water provides.

Okuizumo Nita-mai Junmai Dai Ginjyo is produced utilizing famed Shimane Prefecture cultivated Nita-mai Koshi Hikari rice milled to 50%.
